A pump track is a training ground for anything with wheels that is self-propelled - all sort of cycles, skateboards and rollerblades.

The first ever asphalt pump track in Nepal has opened doors to an all weather community bike & skate park, that will be maintained by Ward office with technical support from Himali Riders, the national level mountain biking club. This will always be free of charge, and aimed at building a healthier community around the park.

Since this has been constructed to the high international standards of the most Worlds most prestigious Pump Track specialists Velosolutions, it also open doors for nepali athletes to train to compete in the international pump track competitions, as well as allows Nepal to host international competitions ourselves.

The track aims to build confidence, a sense of safety, and learn a positive sustainable sport, and over time will have developed a community that has children and adults with skill, and athletes that are the pride of the nation.

With a positive sport that is already attracting a wide audience, the area will also benefit commercially, making conservation attractive and easier in the Bagmati corridor.

We trust that this Pump Track will become the pride of Kathmandu valley and in particular of the Kupondole area, where it is located.
